Sale is on!

DFO was having a huge sale yesterday. I illusioned “ang mohs” would staying at home and having sweet time with their families on Boxing Day. But I was wrong. It was quite crowded and we hardly can find a parking lot.

I spent 85 aud to get myself a Puma sneaker, a Rivers ballet flat, a Just Jeans cardigan, a Just Jeans khakis, a Cotton On skirt and a Cotton on top. I told Dad about my buys last night. Even my dad said those were worth buying. With 85 aud I got myself six new stuffs.

It was a nice shopping day. But I would prefer and love it more if my family are here with me to do the shopping.

I will wait

Mom, Auntie and Peng Peng has gone back to Malaysia yesterday. Mom promised that she will come again so it was not that bad. My 宝贝 sister, Peng Peng said she will think about her path and she might come back one day. I really miss having them around.

Pa, Ma, Jie, Kor, Peng, I wait for you guys to come again okie? I will wait. No matter how long the wait is, I will stay waiting because I love you guys.

How do you become a better person?

“How do you become a better person?” I have been asking myself and others many times for weeks.

I see myself not helpful anymore. I was asked if I am willing to do some volunteering work in a Chung Tian Temple last month. I am more than happy to do so, but I missed their call I think. I called back but no ones picked up. I went to Temple and look for her but I couldn’t find her.

I wanted to sponsor a kid. I went through the WorldVision website but action was not taken in place. It is a lifelong commitment. I have no confident that I am able to do so and my financial status maimed me a little.

I lost patience. I got easily agitated most of the times. I used to be very patient when I was young. Why can’t i keep the patience with me? Each time after I got myself so agitated, I lost my mind. I can’t even concentrate in doing things. I feel sorry for Yoppo. He has to live with a stupid bomb that might explode in anytime, anywhere.

I got myself into others’ rumours. About every evenings after work, I told Yoppo about how bad my manager is, how unfair it is, how much I dislike about the country. Look into that, who doesn’t have a big heart and who is getting impatient? I am being so unfair to my loved ones and I feel sorry for myself.

I am upset. I miss the young-aged charlene. I feel like a loser. I am not meeting my own expectation. Tell me, how do I become a better person?

11 days off

I was on holiday since 29th Nov. Along with weekends, I got myself 11 days off. There were only 2 days of paid leaves. The rest of leaves were unpaid ones. Duh! But unpaid leaves went worthwhile as I really had a great time with Lai Wan, Jue Ying and my family members.

Lai Wan and Jue Ying (an expectant mother! ^.^ ) were here on 29th November. It was very nice of them to paid me a visit after their 3 days training in Melbourne. Four days spent with them were really fanstatic. They listened to me, shopped with me and they even cooked me nice foods during their visits! They also got me an original Jay Chou’s new album! Hooray!

My parents and my siblings came on 4th December. There is no single day that is wasted. It was really an awesome holiday. Like Yoppo always tell his friends, any holidays that Charlene had with her family members were her best vacations in life. Yes, that statement holds a true.

During their visits, the first day we went to picnic at a playground near Australia Fair. It was thrilling, relaxing and fun! We headed to Harbour Town and Gold Coast after our picnic.

The second day we went to Lone Pine Sanctuary and also attended Peng Peng’s graduation at late afternoon. Everyone of us were very proud of Peng. As Peng walking towards chancellor and receiving her certificate in hand, we cheered for her. Dad, Mom, you two are cool! Without your effort, four of us wouldn’t have graduated from University today.

The third day we went to Brisbane Botonical Garden, Mt. Cootha and city. Following day we were in Sunshine Coast. In Sunshine Coast, we visited the Pineapple farm, Honey factory, Ginger factory, Nougat factory, Macademia factory and Mooloolaba beach. Mom was way too excited and lost in buying things.

During the weekends, we went to Chung Tian temple and Warner Bros Movie World. I have been to Movie World the third time I think, and this time is the most memorable one. Dad, Kor and Yoppo won 3 bug bunnies for Jie, Peng and myself.

Dad, Jie, Kor and sister-in-law-to-be went back Malaysia yesterday. Really bu she de to let them go. . I hugged them and I sobbed like a kid on that night. I keep asking dad to migrate to Australia in near future. I really hope to see them very soon.

I am back to work. Good thing is mom will still be here till next week. Woohoo!
