I am…

Posted by rubberband on August 31, 2008

1. …feeling very guilty that I have forgotten about my cousin brothers’ birthday. I wanted to give him a call to wish him but it has been a month now, how do I start? Soon Lee, I am very sorry. I know there’s nothing can turn back the time. I hate myself of forgetting such an important date! I love you, Soon Lee.

2. …planning for my next blood donation. Gosh, it has been 6 months from the last time they banned me of my low iron level. Hopefully my blood now has higher iron count and so they could accept it. I will be super duper happy if I am able to continue helping.

3. …in love with most of my colleagues. There is no game that there couldn’t think of. We recently have Flavour Master competition at work. How it works? Simple. What you need to do is to differentiate Pepsi, Pepsi Light, Pepsi Max, Diet Coke, Coke and Coke Zero.

4. …sad to see Minfang Rietberg leaves the company. She has been my best friend at work. Now that she moves on, I wish her all the best. Jia You, Minfang! One thing I am sure is that she will be always my best friend.

5. …legally married, not yet traditionally married. Last Friday I joined my colleagues drink session at RE, they seemed to be not accepting that I believe myself is not entirely married until I have my ceremony.

6. …getting more bruises on my body. I fall down in bathroom last few weeks which in return having a big patch of blue-black on my left arm. This week my left foot was accidentally kicked by my colleagues in soccer and now another blue-black. Just now again, I got my right leg scratched when I closed the car door. It is a bloody scratch!

7. …disappointed at myself. I don’t love myself in Australia. I prefer myself in Malaysia. Peoples (Family members, Friends, Ex-colleagues) are amazing in Malaysia. Is there a slim chance that I can go back Malaysia and be there permanently?

8. …anticipating to go home. Grandmas, Papa, Mama, Jie, Kor, Peng, Li, Soon Lee, I can’t wait to see you guys. Hearing you from the phone is my true happiness in Australia. I hope to see you guys soon so I can talk with guys face in face. No more phone! :) *loving you guys always*

The first…

Posted by rubberband on August 24, 2008

1. …person that made me know what love is is my grandpa. I was so afraid to lose him at my younger age, I prayed for him everyday but lastly I still lost him. Though he has gone, he never leaves my heart. He still is the first person that get me to know what true love is.

2. …day I went to gym all by myself was nerve-wrecking. I had no idea how to function a treadmill, abs, exercise bike, and all these gym equipments. I even scared myself that I have lost the membership card on the first day.

3. …kiss that Yoppo gave me was a peck on my hair. It was supposed to be on my cheek but as coincidence I looked down and my hair blocking the right side of my face.

4. …year that I felt lonely and upset was year 2004. A broke of friendship and relationship happened in the same year. I was not in my comfort zone to deal with anything that happened. I was like a fish out water. Now I am pretty sure that that was the first and also the last.

5. …present that I appreciate it so much was the keyboard that my mom bought me. I really like that keyboard and hopefully one day it will be permanently stay in here.

6. …thing that I learned at work is that even if you don’t understand Australian’s jokes, do give a response or perhaps return it with a smile. It is a basic respect.

7. …time I danced with Yoppo was on his 23rd birthday. We simply played “Waltz of Eyes on me”. We just started dancing as if we know waltz steps. It was hilarious, absolutely fun and worth to do it again and again. ^.^

8. … Australia’s advertisement that I really love is from Qantas. The ad apparently can be seen from the telly. The song brings goosebumps and the lyrics is so cool. I love everything of this song particularly the third and fourth paragraph. Please don’t call me a traitor. I only like a good song! :)

I’ve been to cities that never close down
from New York to Rome and old London town,
but no matter how far or how wide I roam
I still call Australia home.

I’m always traveling, I love being free,
and so I keep leaving the sun and the sea,
but my heart lies waiting over the foam.
I still call Australia home.

All the sons and daughters spinning ’round the world,
away from their family and friends,
but as the world gets older and colder,
it’s good to know where your journey ends.

But someday we’ll all be together once more
when all of the ships come back to the shore.
Then I realise something I’ve always known.
I still call Australia home.

I saw…

Posted by rubberband on August 17, 2008

1. …the ball hits on Minfang’s face last Thursday during our weekly soccer with colleagues. I was quite far from her to stop that from happening. She was in pain. I thought she would cry but she is strong.

2. …a jet’s smoke trail writing ‘Sorry Ranga‘ on the sky last two weeks. It is a romantic way to apologize but I probably wouldn’t want my loved ones spent so much to say sorry. I don’t know who you are still I hope you do forgive.

3. …myself lost just a kilogram after a week of diet. It is a massive disappointment. The result is so de-motivating. I am going to quit quit quit!

4. …several newbies joining ballet class yesterday. I heard them talking after the class while I was waiting for Yoppo to pick up. From the conversation I guess they enjoyed it and hope to see them next week.

5. …some of my colleagues playing online games at work. We are all not on the peak time so it is actually okay to do it. My point is they are really into it and they gather around to break game trick. Cute!

6. …a collection of wedding photography during the weekend. There is one in K.L really attracts Yoppo and I. The lady on the phone is unbelievably helpful. She made me call the second time to make booking with them.

7. …a hole in my tights before attending my ballet class. It was fortunate for me to notice it prior to the class, else it would be an embarrassment.

8. …Yoppo and Carrie eating all the good foods like KFC, Oporto’s, Mc. Donalds…without me! *jealous* Good Food, I am coming!

It is…

Posted by rubberband on August 10, 2008

1. …proud to see that China is hosting the Olympics. I stayed up till 2 am (BNE time) to watch the ceremony. I am feeling proud that it is happening in there and I believe my grandpa is feeling the same too. I guess he has watched that from the sky. :)

2. …a shame that I only got to noticed that I bought a wrong greetings card when I was writing it. For our first year anniversary, I gave Yoppo a card with front side writing “For you, my WIFE..”. Gosh. I still can’t believe I did that.

3. …*geram* that Crystal asked me if I am a pregger on her R.O.M. Argh! I almost fainted. Haha. That’s because of the dress making me look super fat okie? No, face the truth, indeed I am super fat.

4. …a strong determination to keep myself away from all the temptation when I am on diet. Thanks for Crystal. Her words motivated me! Haha.

5. …scary hearing quarrellings and fightings happened at 5.11 am. I was awaken by their quarrel and was in doubt that whether I should do something, like calling police to stop the fight? The fight ended up with silence fight since my neighbor shouted “Shut up and grow up!”

6. …an achievement as I have completed my first term of beginner ballet class. I will still do 2~3 terms of beginner class if possible. Jia you yo!

7. …a simple celebration among two us on our first year anniversary. Besides a little bit of shopping and having a good dinner, that’s pretty much about it. I am satisfied with it though.

8. …good to hear that my brother has made me a reservation for my wedding ceremony. *Phew, Finally*. I should start listing the invitees guests now. You know you are one of them. :)
