On our wedding day (II)…

Posted by rubberband on June 13, 2009

1….The groom was nerdily attempting to memorise every mandarin words for his speech in the lounge room. With the cheat sheet on his hand, he was pacing. I know I should have been more encouraging. I said that all words were out-of-tune.

2…One minute before the march, Dad was not happy about the decision of playing the slide shows first. He doesn’t like to wait. He thought that was a waste of time.

3…Under the spotlight, in the march, my heels can’t stopped stepping on the dress. My limbs were like broken branches after the storm. Dress was too long, heels were too high…and i sucked big time! Fortunately, Dad (my hero!) waved to Peng and got her saved my night!

4…An unplanned surprise from someone in Brisbane. He specially made us a photo story. As the film rolled on, my hearts melted.

5…My cousins, my dad, and my siblings went up to stage to sing. They might not be the greatest song in the word but they were definitely the sweetest tune that I heard in my life.

6…On the dining table, “I always wanted to call Dad. Can I address your Dad my Dad now?”, he asked. I realized his wish in an instant. No magic wand.

7…I thanked every table f guests when we proposed the toast. I can’t say enough of thanks.

8… I call it a night to remember.

No more to be under to spotlight. Some others are better kept for private purpose. *cough*

Hey Bro, don’t say that. I know you tried your best. Having your best wishes were good enough.

This is so sweet! This is how weddings should be like. More importantly, this is how love should be like. Charlene, I wish you happiness always!
